Once a gentleman was walking through an elephant camp. He was confused by the fact that these huge creatures are being held by a small piece of rope tied to one of their legs.
They weren’t kept in cages or held by the use of chain. It was obvious that the elephant could break away from their bond anytime but they didn’t just use their strength to break the rope and escape from the camp.
Curious and confused ,he asked the trainer nearby why the elephants were just standing there and never tried to escape.
The trainer replied, ‘ well, when they were young and smaller, we use the same size rope to tie them and at that time, it’s Enough to hold them. As they grow up they are conditioned to believe that they cannot break away. They believe that the rope can still hold them , and escaping from the camp is impossible’.
Moral of the story – Failure is a part of life, we must never give up the struggle in life untill we achieve success
